Well, looks like I am plagued by the same bug. Just letting you all know.
By the way - so far it seems the only way to go around that is a backup save.
So sad. I forgot to make one...

Hi guys,

The elevator will "accept" going up when you get the blue container, the new spear AND the wall jumping (located in the left section). We have changed the way the elevator works in 1.05 (not released yet) to avoid getting stuck at the bottom if you don't have all the stuff to finish the level.

If you still have problems with the elevator (after acquiring the mentioned above skill and item), I'll get your save file and "upgrade" them to unlock the elevator.

I know, the level wasn't perfectly designed... but we have improved it

I have three saved games, two of which are " auto saved " in the lower temple. With both of them, I played through acquiring the blue conainer and blue energy balls, the spear and wall jump. Once at the elevator it would not accept my energy to raise it. The third saved game I have is still in the main part of the temple where I can exit back to other areas. I've been building this character up to " kill " time, .. so to speak. So, you wish me to send you my auto saves. May I send you all three? Of course, my saves are all the game's auto saves and at these points I have not collected all the necessary goodies. I have no way of saving the game other than when it decides. I can't wait to be able to carry on with the adventures. I do so enjoy Aztaka. I thank you in advance,

I would like to report to the esteemed developers that in that instance I was affected by a most grievous error: ID-10T. Unfortunately by the time I succeeded in resolving this issue on my own I became otherwise occupied and failed in notifying you... And now this will stand as proof that it is never too late to make a spectacle of yourself. In short, yes, I figured out what I was doing wrong and I managed ascend victoriously in the welcoming arms of a nice red robed mummified person.

Greetings and salutations to all of You ( Enzo, Guidao and jmercier ) who are guiding me through this predicament I have found myself in. Well, I'm still in it. I replayed, once again, my second save in the lower temple. Got ALL the necessary goodies and, once again, stood at the elevator. As before, it ignored me. jmercier, would you please wave your magic wand over my game saves ..... ( Enzo has/had them, or can you access them on your own? ) Guidao, I am in the process of retreiving my WinZip which seems to have disappeared from my puter. ( don't ask ... GRRRRR ) So, jmercier .... please do your magic. ....... needless to say, I am not totally computer savy..

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPPPYYYY!!!!!!! I took my third character ( 3 game tries ) and FINALLY the elevator accepted my blue energy. AHHHHH, such BLISS! I must have been doing something wrong with the first two game characters , but miraculously this one rode the elevator up. Again, I thank my helpers for sticking in there with me. You gave me reason to carry on! Oh, Guidao ..... the save you sent me as you suspected, did experience conflict, so I was unable to try it. Nonetheless, thank you, and again thank you ALL!

Hi. I got the indie love bundle, and while I don't play Aztaka (not my cup of tea), my son loved it and sadly got stuck in this place (I think, from that screenshot in page one). I thought for a while he just was missing something and that he'd be able to get out on his own, but after this weekend's frustration I decided to look around and found this thread.

Here's his save, can you please confirm if this is the place he's stuck at, and how may I fix it? (That upgrading saves thing would be nice, or a beta of the 1.05 patch)
